Ron DeSantis Is Definitely Running
He presents himself as a serious, forward-leaning, pro-business, antiwoke conservative Republican.

The first GOP presidential debate is five months away, in August. Primaries begin about six months after. This thing is on. Some observations on Ron DeSantis.
The Florida governor is definitely running. Every sign is there: donors, a growing and increasingly professional organization, a book that is part memoir, part platform and debuted this week at No. 1 on the New York Times list. A few days ago he gave a big, packed-house speech at the Reagan Library.
He’s come off a landslide 2022 re-election (almost 20 points) in which he won majorities of Hispanics, independents and women. He is 44, governor of a major state that was purple and has gone red, and there is no way (barring the unanticipated) he is not in. I read him as a guy who thinks you get a moment in politics, a magic moment, and when it comes you move because you don’t know if it will ever come again. “They’ll forget me,” 43-year-old John F. Kennedy said when advised to wait and go for the presidency in 1964. No, he’d made a splash at the 1956 convention, 1960 was his shot, move now or never.

It's too bad he has attracted the supposed support of someone like Noonan. That will hurt him.
Here's what is going on. Noonan and other liberals want to split Trump and DeSantis voters so neither candidate can win; so they drop a little tainted bait here and then a little there.

Not only is he going to split the base he will tear Florida apart! Cruz did that to Texas and we still haven’t totally recovered from the 2016 race.
Look, if you are a Republican, and you don’t like Trump, of course you are going to back DeSantis.
To say “Ooh, ooh, lookie, lookie! Another TDS Republican backing DeSantis!” is like saying “Ooh, ooh, lookie, lookie! The sky is blue!”
What is going to be important is to see who USED to back Trump and is now backing DeSantis. THAT is the tale of the tape.
That Noonan is backing him is yet another sign DeSantis is the establishment’s choice.

Well, you have issues to resolve. There are many of US that will never vote for the eGOP fav again. It isn't like y'all haven't been warned that these days were coming. Yet, y'all persisted. It's almost like y'all don't believe US. The GOP can bend to our Conservative MAGA will or it can die. It sure looks like they would prefer to die. Trump will likely get my last vote, then I'll be done. You gonna call me names on the internet?

I like DeSantis. He’s got all the time in the world. He could let Trump play out however he’s gonna play out then he’s up next and stronger then if he attacks Trump. But no. Fecking no. And honestly? That makes me wonder about what he’s doing, what he’s up to if anything.
Trump was cheated out of his second term, that’s one reason why.
