The public has been groomed for this collapse, and may even feel good about the chaos as they’re told they are so virtuous.

But there’s no question that there’s a great deal of cynicism across this land. Our system appears broken, unresponsive and corrupt to many observers.
If you’re in doubt, all you have to do is turn on the boob tube to ANY channel or go see a Disney movie. America’s Best Days and Greatness as a country are over.
If this country ever becomes great again, us older FReepers will probably not live long enough to see it.
I will never count myself among the fearful.

That’s exactly what liberal-woke CNN viewers want to hear. They so want to be right that any news to the contrary would be a great disappointment to them. However, it doesn’t make them right, it just makes them a big part of the problem, and rightly so!
The Republican brand used to be optimism.
Are the good times really over for good?
If you’re still breathing, you still have hope and you can still fight.
Otherwise, you’re just a quitter.
Fighting means not allowing the lowlifes to steal your hope, which sustains everything else.

The azzhos coming in and claiming they are “seeking asylum” for “a better life” subsidized by the U.S. taxpayers need their butts kicked. If they were seeking a better life, they morons went ONE COUNTRY TOO FAR NORTH. Even the Mexican el presidente says it’s too dangerous to live in America. They need to go back home to their socialist Hispanic countries if they want a better life. Although they don’t have race cards to play, everyone speaks Spanish. Wanting “a better life” IN NOT an acceptable reason to fraudulently demand “asylum”. You want “asylum”, call the turd rollers at the U.N. They can give you a list of countries whose taxpayers would like to provide you with “a better life.” You’ll have a better life if you stop voting for Socialists and Communists.
They are because the GOP betrayed us in 2020. Its downhill from here unless we form our own party.
I can’t disagree. If a person was in a coma the last 20 to 30 years and woke up in 2023 they would not recognize this country. The modern dystopia we’ve all feared is now reality today.
It’s not too late to reverse course as a nation, but we’re at the point where it’s going to get extremely messy to fix our current predicament. People wonder how someone like Pinochet gets into power well we’re about to see that in the USA soon enough.
And to the liberals out there this isn’t a reference to Trump and while Trump wants to restore this nation to it’s former glory he works within the Constitution. If it gets much worse we’ll elect someone who won’t follow the letter of the law and the troublemakers on the left (and neocons) will suddenly start to disappear.
