Received a brief from my battalion commander yesterday. He was ordered by the Commanding General to personally brief every Soldier in the battalion to “tell our story” to the public and embrace the “Soldier Referral Program.”
We all kind of chuckled and made references to Judas. We call the ribbon we get when one of our referrals make it through training the “Judas Ribbon.” None of us are referring anyone.
LOL, I did 8+ years on active duty: all I had to wear were a couple of "I was there" ribbons, an ARCOM, and an MSM.
