The CCP helped fund a lot of these groups, including the DNC.

According to 50 USCS ยง 2204 [Title 50. War and National Defense; Chapter 39. Spoils of War], Enemy of the United States means any country, government, group, or person that has been engaged in hostilities, whether or not lawfully authorized, with the United States;
Many including myself, view the CCP as an existential threat to the U.S. Also, I view the CCP as our #1 enemy.
The problem is that we have a government who does not view or treat the CCP as our enemy. As a result, convicting someone of treason because of their dealing with the CCP would be highly unlikely.
