DeSantis’ stop at Rhythm City Casino Resort was his first visit to Iowa. Curiosity about the rising Republican star helped draw a healthy crowd: On a snowy, chilly weekday, more than 1,000 people had arrived by 9 a.m.

How big do you think Trump's crowd will be when he is there in Iowa this week?

Politicians only accomplish things via coalitions and though he has some good instincts, DeSantis has all of the wrong friends.

Trump has all of the right enemies.

Trump or nothing!

He’s telling many behind the scenes he’s running. Has lost 20 pounds. He’s running. Can’t wait to see Trump and DeSantis debate. He lacks Trump’s charisma and star power but I can see him beating Biden. I think we’re blessed that finally the top two Republicans are unafraid populists who enjoy sparring with liberals and not corporatist sellouts mouthing a few conservative bromides without heart. The Trump wing has replaced the Bush-Cheney corporate, globalist, o please like me media wing.

He should wait until 2028, and spend the next 4yrs in FL, who elected him to fix their state. It’s not “his time”, yet.

I think DeSantis and Trump should spend a weekend together without their lackies. Just relax and get to know each other.

Together they are a winning team
At each other’s throats
They’re a DemonRATs dream.

New York Times swoons over DeSantis! That tells it all in a nutshell.

Trump will draw big crowds to be sure. The unanswered question is , how big a crowd would turn out for a candidate who supports MAGA and holds most of the same positions on core issues as Trump - but doesn’t have Trump’s baggage and the negatives that turn some voters away?

I love Trump and for me, “The Trumpier the better!”, but I also want to win back the Presidency and I believed him when he said it’s a movement, not a cult of personality centered on one man.

1,000 people and the word awkward is a dismal start to a presidential campaign. 😏

“America’s Governor” still has a big hurdle to clear to become the best President in American history.

The Orange Hurdle won’t be an easy obstacle to overcome for the youngster who was born in 1978.

No picture of the crowd; must have been small.
