He lacks Trump’s charisma and star power but I can see him beating Biden. I think we’re blessed that finally the top two Republicans are unafraid populists who enjoy sparring with liberals and not corporatist sellouts mouthing a few conservative bromides without heart. The Trump wing has replaced the Bush-Cheney corporate, globalist, o please like me media wing.

Professional career politicians care about one thing, moving into higher office with more power and influence.
Don’t trust The New York Times but DeSantis is talking to donors and fundraisers behind the scenes and it’s just obvious he’s preparing a presidential run.
Probably from stress. Unlike Trump who thrives on this kind of stuff. People file stress claims just reviewing Trump's itinerary. No career professional politician can keep up with supercharged Trump. He's proven this over and over.
When is Trump going to apologize for te-tweeting a post that called him the King of Israel?
He should wait until 2028, and spend the next 4yrs in FL, who elected him to fix their state. It’s not “his time”, yet.
I will just paraphrase what he said in his run for gov of FL: I’m running for gov of FL not pres of USA.
His implication was he would remain gov of FL until the end of his term as gov.

I like both Trump and DeSantis. I see a lot of the same qualities in them. If DeSantis was bashful and stressed out he wouldn’t take on so many of the liberals’ sacred cows: Education loons, Disney, the vaccine, the media.
A DeSantis challenge will get Trump in debate shape and make sure he brings his A game for the 24 General. If he just coasted to a third nomination, maybe he’d lose the General.
