Bastids are trying to do what they couldn't achieve under convoluted negligence theories. At least in NY higher courts have consistently maintained both that gun manufacturers do not have a duty to control the actions of individuals who obtain their guns, and that convoluted theories of nuisance or societal damage to guns are more appropriately addressed by the legislature. So these cases should be continued to be dismissed.
But, I'm not screeching "it's not news" because you never know what might develop into a threat even if it doesn't seem like one now. Good item to post.
