Nor should there be?? Seems to me that freedom of speech is extremely important in a court of law.
A court of law is most decidedly not a "democracy."
Presiding judges are completely entitled to restrict someone's speech (e.g., to cut off a witness if he begins rambling) and to impose penalties if anyone disturbs the court's "decorum."
This includes enforcing, e.g., a "dress code."
None of these restrictions would be allowed in normal civil life - but in a courtroom...
Perhaps one of our "legal eagles" here could take a stance on this issue.
