The Justice Department issued a scathing critique Wednesday on the Louisville Metro Police Department after a nearly two-year review it launched into the force following the botched raid that killed Breonna Taylor.
The review, looking at whether the Louisville Metro Police Department used excessive force, found that officers use unreasonable tactics including unjustified neck restraints, police dogs and tasers. The report also found that the police department executes search warrants without knocking and announcing.
“For years, LMPD has practiced an aggressive style of policing that it deploys selectively, especially against Black people, but also against vulnerable people throughout the city,” the report said.

How dare they go after people who commit crimes!
They do not bother to mention the people they go after are PRONE to be violent and use weapons.
“Black people” = Drug Dealers
That’s essentially what the DOJ is saying.
In fact, already Woke politics has created a vast chasm between black and white racism. Case in point was what Scott Adams Tweeted just last week that millions of people agreed with (i.e., why live around people who hate you just because of the color of your skin?--I paraphrase).
I am confident that this was a fair, unbiased investigation, and that all members of Ben Crump’s legal team were interviewed!!
If the sub 10% habitual criminals out of all of black people didn’t do crimes the crime rate in the country would plummet.
And black people who don’t commit crimes would be the main statistical beneficiaries.
Force happens when what part of stop resisting or hault warnings ae ignored.
As part of reparations, Blacks should not be charged with crimes.
“...especially against Black people, but also against vulnerable people throughout the city,” the report said.”
Mark my words, “especially” against black people is only owing to the fact that it happens more often to black people due to the vastly greater number of crimes committed by black people.
Louisville has been a lib stronghold as far back as I can remember (originally from Louisville, we live a short drive south from Louisville now) and they’ve been through at LEAST 5 police chiefs since 2020. Oddly enough, Breonna died March 2020 but the protests/riots didn’t start till AFTER George Floyd. Weird, huh? Everything bad is because of that eeeevil LMPD, is that right?
Louisville is a crime ridden hole.
Justice Department = Oxymoron
For another 2 more years
That is where we seem to be headed
If only people (in general, really) would watch Chris Rock’s how not to get your ass kicked by the police video and would take it to heart. A lot of these things wouldn’t happen.
I had some business at Ft. Knox some years ago. Spent some time in Louisville...Even back then, the vibes I got was the the blacks seemed hostile. Fortunately, I never went back.
The cotton wasn’t worth it.
Every cop should wuit and let nature take its course.
DOJ aka DOI aka Department of Injustice
Says the federal department that uses excessive force and discriminates against people.
