ARD Tagesschau German TV News ^ | 3/7/2023 | Michael Gotschenberg, George Heil, Holger Schmidt

German investigative authorities have apparently made a breakthrough in solving the attacks on the Nord Stream pipeline. According to ARD information, there is no evidence of who caused the destructions-but there are traces.

After joint research by ARD capital studio, the ARD political magazine "Kontraste", the SWR and the "Zeit", it was possible to largely reconstruct how and when the explosive attack was prepared in the course of the investigation. Accordingly, traces lead in the direction of Ukraine. However, investigators have not yet found any evidence as to who ordered the destruction.

On the night of September 26, 2022, three of the four strands of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines on the bottom of the Baltic Sea were destroyed by explosions.

Specifically, according to information from the ARD capital studio, "Kontraste", SWR and "Zeit", the investigators succeeded in identifying the boat that was allegedly used for the secret operation. It is said to be a yacht rented from a company based in Poland, apparently owned by two Ukrainians. According to the investigation, the secret operation at sea was carried out by a team of six people. It is said to have been five men and one woman.

Accordingly the group consisted of a captain, two divers, two diving assistants and a doctor, who are said to have transported the explosives to the crime scenes and planted them there. The nationality of the perpetrators is apparently unclear. The nationality of the perpetrators is apparently unclear. The assassins used professionally forged passports, which are said to have been used, among other things, to rent the boat.

According to the investigation, the command set sail from Rostock on September 6, 2022. The equipment for the secret operation was previously transported to the port in a delivery truck...

Hmmmm… the COMPLIANT GERMAN VASSALS parrot the new White House distraction “story”.

Funny how the RIDICULOUS “the Russians did it” canard vanished like a fart in the wind.

This spin is going out of control. US warships sat over the blast locations for days. Why the utter nonsense?

Interesting that they've been able to discern all these details.

This brings to mind the story of an Indian, prostrate on the dusty road. A man on horseback rides up to the Indian and asks what he is doing on the ground.

Indian: "10 cavalry riders; one officer and an Indian scout, heading west at a gallop, another horse being led with no rider."

Man on horseback: "And you can tell all this just by looking at hoofprints and listening with your ear to the ground?"

No, they just rode over the top of me 10 minutes ago."

My guess was always the Ukrainians.
It’s not that hard to do. It didn’t require high tech. It didn’t require huge resources.
And the Ukes had a perfect right to do it in a state of war.

LOL Die Zeit claims a “yacht” took a dive team with explosives out to the Baltic. Must have been one helluva “yacht” to support a dive team with air plus the large explosive charges.

Was the pipeline destroyed by an external or internal explosion? If it was the latter, chances are the Russians blew the line themselves.

So you don’t think that Biden had anything to do with the destruction of the line, in spite of his veiled threat to stop the operation of the pipeline?

Yeah, the Russians were going to blow up their own pipeline and the huge amounts of revenues it provided to them./SARCASM

Biden and others came out and stated that if Russia invaded Ukraine, they would take it out.

The most likely suspect is still the Russians.

Their strategic goal has long been to split off Germany from the US/UK/EuroAllies block by basically paying off German politicians (see the slimy German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder for example) using the river of money coming out of the ground in form of oil and gas.

But Germany successfully reoriented its energy usage and survived the winter. Putin knows know that pipeline will be useless for many, many years at least as long as he or someone like him is in power in Russia. Russian energy will be a captive supplier to China at bargain basement prices.

So blowing it up and blaming the US is exactly the kind of plan Putin and his secret police regime would fall back to as the next move to try to pry the Germans away and recreate the Molotov-Ribbentrop idea of dividing the territory of Eastern Europe between Russia and Germany.

The Eastern Europeans and even most Germans are no longer falling for it.

Possibly someone else did it. There is no way to evaluate Seymour Hersh’s narrative without knowing what US or foreign intel faction fed it to him and for what agenda.

I laugh when they talk about “investigative reporters” like Hersh “cultivating” sources in the intel community. It’s the other way around.

I don’t beieve that it was Russia’s pipeline, solely.
Half and half with a Euro conglomerate.

Biden, personally, didn’t have anything to do with anything because he is a potted plant. The current US executive seems to be a sort of committee. That, or different areas of policy seem to be run by separate persons, which explains the typical incoherence.

Anyway, yes of course both the US and the Poles may well have assisted the Ukrainians in one way or another.

ANY of the Russian-owned yachts seized by the West that I’ve seen pics of online would have sufficed nicely.

Granted that I’m not sure what’s available for rental, but a few good size boats is a reasonable assumption.

While I agree that it is unlikely for the Russians to have done this it also had benefits for the Russians if they did.

1. First and foremost the Russians no longer needed to make payments on the projects especially if they were destroyed in an act of war.

2. Russia was not making any money from the pipelines due to sanctions and bank freezes. Any revenue they did make was/is being held in escrow in Western banks and is out of their reach.

3. It is a propaganda victory within Russia to show an enemy attacking them.

The key phrase is “Russian-owned.” What Ukrainians would have one of those sitting in a Polish harbor?
