It is not insane if you consider they are now actually in kind donations providing free advertising for the party message.

Pretty much all media these days is state run providing free in kind support which is actually against the law.

All the bill proposes is effectively openness and disclosure of one’s biases.

I took it to disclose any payment for the post. Like political ads state who or what paid for them.

No: what is bad for the goose is also bad for the gander. Once you must register with the gov. for being critical of gov. then FR would also have to do so, and which would lead to monitoring and paying fees. And to censorship. Unconstitutional.
