When you think about the relative simplicity of an electric car, compared to the complexity of manufacturing a conventional ICE vehicle, at some point they should be considerably cheaper to manufacture. Once Tesla hits that economy of (manufacturing) scale “sweet spot” I do not see why these cars shouldn’t be on par with ICE, perhaps even cheaper.
