What if you had two options: Count on Angola or count on Biden?
Count on capitalism and global markets.
The logic of the mass of global markets trumps any politician, any cabal of would-be masters of the universe. Any one country can fall into foolish policies, but most will chase revenue and profits.
That is what globalism really is. If stuff can come from anywhere, then one can buy it from anywhere. “Captured” markets and monopolies are less likely, and any problems with supply fix themselves.
There are dozens of “Angolas”. Any one can flake, but the mass of them offer redundancy.
Unlike local politicians.
