Robert F. Kennedy Jr. outlines potential platform amid speculation of presidential run

"To choose between economic prosperity on the one hand and environmental protection on the other is not true,” Kennedy said. “Good environmental policy 100% of the time is identical to good economic policy.”

The focus on such issues gave insight into Kennedy’s vision for community building and the national problems he wishes to solve.

Kennedy dedicated a significant portion of his speech to the COVID-19 vaccine and the threat he said it poses to Americans.

He would draw off both fringes into the Democratic party and give their positions a fair hearing in the public square for once. Get it over with.

And yet we have seen on other threads that some of our very own will vote for him unless trump in our candidate. Makes me truly wonder if they are really conservatives.

“I personally believe him to be an environut who wants us all to die.”

You have no idea what you are talking about.

He has been warning about the deep state globalists for a long time.

He's for exposing the TRUTH, as least when it comes to medical science.

So, I'm not much concerned about which bucket to assign him.

The importance is public exposure to the fraud of the Left. (i.e. not sure his stance on AGW)

Exposing the truth taps into BLM and the police. That plus neocons constant push for war. Dr. Fauchi-truth brushfire that’s spreading and is an easy target.

Normally when a Democrat president is challenged in the primaries from the left it is bad news for his election prospects.

My guess is that Kennedy cannot get the nomination but he can do Biden a lot of harm so, Godspeed!

I don't think Kennedy can be nominated because too much of the party knows he cannot be controlled and can continue to damage them seriously. Therefore I don't not think he can be elected even if nominated but if he is elected I don't see how he can do us more harm on the environmental issue than Biden has already done to us.

Well said.

RFK, Jr. has no experience as an executive running a large enterprise, or even holding a significant political office or cabinet position. His comment about economics and the environment has some truth behind it in the long-term, but in classic Kennedy fashion, is just rhetoric put up like a screen for the projection of hope.

Well running in the Democratic primary would force a conversation about that. If every antivaxxer registered for the Democratic primary to support him he would instantly have around a third of the primary vote on the vaccine question alone. There would be no ducking the issue anymore.

Yes, I think he’s a fruitcake, but at the same time I’m all about representatives listening to their constituents rather than ducking them. Bring it on, good things may happen!

This isn't about RFK Jr. as President!

This is about his value in exposing the fraud of Biden. (Because even CNN and MSNBC will cover him)

For a Dem I like the guy. At least appears on media that does not always agree with him. Unless he changes his stand on life issues I could not support him.

I can see him rising up a lot of the dems who are not in favor of all of the crazy their party is involved in today. I do like that he’s brave enough to stand up to Big Pharma, and expose the evil Fauci.

If he wanted everyone to die, he’d be supporting all of the whacky jab-o-rama rules....boosters ‘til the cows come home. This anti-jab stance, along with his Fauci exposure will have him thrashed into pieces by the press.

He may be becoming a third positionist.

Watch carefully.

Agree that should he show any anti-globalism, anti-banker thoughts and gets traction early, he’s a dead man.

They won’t make the same mistake they made in 2016 twice.

“He gets an A on COVID policy.”

He’s a private citizen. He has no policy. As a private citizen he gets an A (an A+) on Covid. These guys don’t make policy based on their beliefs

Hadn’t thought about the third positionist angle, maybe so, though I think Trump will have him beat on that score by reopening the frontier via public lands and space.
