Residents of those countries would not appreciate having you calling them socialist either. They might even explain that they pay a high amount of taxes for a high level of government services, a concept foreign to places like New York, New Jersey or California where the taxes are high and the services are $#*++y.
These days countries like Denmark and Norway have a lot of “leakage” since they have to spend a fortune supporting illegal and legal aliens.
They used to be great places....
