Biden won’t veto bill blocking the softening of DC's criminal code

President Biden informed Senate Democrats in a closed-door meeting Thursday that he won't veto legislation blocking the Washington, D.C., Council's move to soften crime laws.

Following the meeting, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., confirmed the president's plans to sign the bill once it gets to his desk.

Yeah, I took it right from the website, but it is very awkward.

A more accurate headline might be that Biden will sign the bill that prevents DC from becoming the Wild West and a haven for criminals. (Although it won't really prevent it, because it's too late. But, the DC proposal basically turns the streets of DC into a hunting ground for criminals.)

Won't = Negative

Veto = Negative

Blocking = Negative

Softening = Negative

Math word problems were always hard for me.....especially with quadruple negatives......

The statement was a mess. But it actually becomes pretty straightforward when you convert it into a logarithm, then graph it using polar coordinates.
