Not necessarily. It could be like the Cold War where Russia annexes territory and then relinquished. It certainly won’t happen until Putin, but he will ultimately die. Russia’s borders have always enlarged and shrunk over the centuries.

I disagree, during the cold war the United States was never this provocative towards Russia. Russia is not likely to forget this anytime soon
