I generally don't mind people having beliefs that are little strange (relative to more likely but mundane explanations) out of a live-and-let-live attitude, but definitely wouldn't want my elected officials demonstrating that sort of lack of rational thought, and doing so proudly. When you're job is to represent a lot of people, you need to stay rational and grounded.
Looks a heckuva lot like a porcupine to me.

Like those cartel leaders in the north east of Mexico (Gulf Cartel(?) who have immediately appologized for the murder of several Ameerican who entered Mexico a few days ago and were killed by mistake. They were apparently suspected of being invading drug dealers, whereas they were regular tourists and one was there for cosmetic surgery.
The cartel has also turned over 5 men to authorities who they say were responsible for the deaths of the tourists.
