“Why go there?”
Almost the first thing that popped into my mind. Are we going to make a car the national vehicle of America. Or how about a screw driver the national?
One of the true “greatness” points of this country is we can take a tool, and we can make it better even for people that don’t use it. We can re-invent anything and make it better or more of it faster. But for the wrong purposes, we can also make that tool more than a tool. And seeing as it seems to be in the hands of the public to accept it is more than it is, we can allow our tools to be demonized by people that don’t use them.
Doesn’t it seem irrational for a class of people to attack something that is in the hands of the wrong people that the class is hired to stop and they attack those that are using it right because the rights provide something the wrongs can’t...cover.
You don’t punish the wrong part by aiding the right part in self denial. And you don’t put into that class of people the opportunity to do something so stupid as to memorialize a hammer or nail because someone wants to use you like the national doormat on the classes path to success. And both sides are guilty. And the media is sparking it. It is just a tool, people. Like the perfect mouse trap they are still looking for. And it will never be found until it is allowed to reach its capacity and no longer can be used incorrectly, the wrong tool that people are so concerned about...maybe.
