Republicans demand interview with Serbian UN official over his 'business relationship' with Hunter Biden: GOP claims politician introduced top Chinese Communist Party official to President's son

Republicans investigating the Biden family's alleged influence peddling have demanded an interview with a former Serbian politician with ties to Hunter and the Chinese Communist Party.

Vuk Jeremic, the ex-President of the United Nations General Assembly, allegedly introduced the President's son to an energy firms with links to the Chinese communist party in 2015.

At the time, Hunter Biden was being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to act as 'consultant' to help 'open doors' by introducing businessmen with links to Beijing to political leaders around the world, Republican Congressman James Comer claims.

Now Comer, the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, demanded Jeremic appear for an interview or hand over all documents related to any deals he had with Hunter or the Biden family.

'Vuk Jeremic is a key witness in our investigation of Joe Biden's involvement in his family's international and domestic business schemes,' Comer said in a statement to DailyMail.com.

'Mr. Jeremic's previous testimony regarding business relationships with officials who participated in international bribery schemes raises red flags that there may be evidence showing the Biden family and associates peddled influence and attempted to sell access, including to individuals connected to the Chinese Communist Party.

'If President Biden is compromised by deals with foreign adversaries, this is a clear threat to national security.

'The Oversight Committee is committed to bringing transparency and accountability to the waste, fraud, and abuse that has taken place at the highest levels of government. Mr. Jeremic's documents are crucial to this investigation.'
