It is a silly argument that I am pointing out.
I think religious freedom (and freedom of association) should make the choice to have only male (or, for that matter, female) clergy okay.
But using the crutch of the sex of the apostles I have always thought to be a real stretch.
Christians rely on God’s word to instruct them and male and female are not about Mexico and Japan.
