A year or so ago, my wife and I apparently had the Omnicron Variant and were over the basic minimal symptoms in a few days.
Recently, we got hit with a stronger Variant caught at Thanksgiving.
I apparently ended up with Covid Gout for about a week besides the normal and short misery..
My wife was recovering from hip replacement surgery, and she, and her lower back had some severe issues, with this
Variant.
Basically, she is back to walking and doing what she did before this Variant. She was walking a little over a mile before this Variant. She has worked back to 3/4 of a mile.
So, we apparently got the 10 month or so immunity from the Omnicron the year before this latest crud. Then, it went away.
Hopefully, our immunity from this latest variant will get us past this fall/winter: Thanksgiving/Christmas and New Years.
