Yep. 20 years ago, the proponents of gay marriage said that gay marriage would allow gay people to settle down and have a married life like straight people. Some proponents even said gay marriage was “conservative” because it would turn gay people into boring, married couples who lived like everyone else. Many opponents of gay marriage said all of that was a smokescreen and simply another step in moving to a more radical agenda. But even the opponents were wrong. They made the mistake of arguing that the next step would be allowing people to marry animals (Rick Santorum), which was silly. They should have focused on the transgender agenda as the next step. The worst part is, they are going to continue to push beyond even this. I shudder to think what is next.

Everyone predicted polygamy. Not one person considered what they really had planned.
