Trump does not care nor listen to anyone.
His supporters always blame others for all his mistakes in hiring, endorsements, etc.
The TRUTH is that Trump did not do as a great of a job as most think. He failed on his #1 campaign promise to secure the border with a wall.
Yes, he was blocked and challenged on it every step of the way, but it could have been done. Instead, we now have 5 million illegals in the last 2 years with at least another 5 million coming in the next 2 years.

Well several that post do. There is apparently no “the buck stops here” for them regarding President Trump. Lots of excuses regarding decisions made or appoIntments made or SCOTUS justices appointed including “It’s the Deeps Statez!”, or “He had to appoint justices off a list!”, or “Everyone was against him!”, and so on.
An example is the bump stock ban. That was pure President Trump - he owns that. Yet, there were some that overlook that action and will go to great lengths to do so.
