Vice President Kamala Harris was forced to switch planes on her return trip from Europe on Saturday due to technical issues on Air Force Two.

Harris boarded a C-17 support plane Saturday afternoon following her speech at the Munich Security Conference in Germany.

"Due to maintenance difficulties, the VP and the traveling party will depart Munich to Washington, D.C. on a back-up aircraft," a White House official told reporters.

Too bad they couldn’t fly her back on a C-130.

Yes! With the same mesh seats we commoners have had to use. The ones that make your butt go numb in about an hour.

Yep, there’s a couple nice seats behind the flight crew.

Imagine her staff’s seats.

No question.

If it’s good enough to fly our boots, it’s good enough for her.

Also her original bird will be repaired. Why not wait?

What pressing business does SHE have?

Then she repeated herself, for clarity.

Is that like the passage of time?

Yes and a NEXT sign on it.

You know what? They should.

Hell, make ‘em put up a GP Medium and sleep in that for a while, too. They can take a vote whether or not they want to have a stove running all night, or not. If they decide yes, then they can work out the Fire Guard schedule for the overnight.

They can piss in a bottle to test for drugs. That’s assuming they can pass the SF46 background investigation. This notion that merely by being elected or “winning” (wink) a race means they are deemed to have passed a background investigation is lunacy. Half those bastards would never pass, no way no how, if common standards were adhered to.

A monthly weigh in, make ‘em adhere to the Height and Weight charts too. Annual PT test, adjusted for age. Sundowner brags about how many pushups he can do.

Well let’s put that to the test.
