He was said to have said: an adult pig vs. a human fetus. A fetus is a human in the early stages of development. How much DNA is shared across species? All life is built from the same availability of elements as we humans are, just in different quantities and configurations. DNA is the same. Making bone uses most of the same elements so that codegroup gets reused in part. No sense in reinventing the wheel as it were.

And you do know that pigs are being used as human analogs in medicine , right?
