The Biden campaign ran circles around Trump's campaign. That is reality. Biden had free reign over the narrative even without the enormous assistance from the press to do the same. Zero attempt by the Trump campaign to counter his ads and messages for months and months on end on many national networks. The race was certainly close enough that alone could have made the difference. Biden fully defined himself and the issues - falsely, but when you are the only message present for many millions of people that's the message that sticks.
His campaign apparatus did not inspire the base enough to open their wallets for him in 2020 for him to run a full media campaign to compete with Biden, and they sat on the sidelines yet again in 2022 leaving his endorsed candidates twisting in the wind against well funded Democrats leaving his candidates begging for McConnell and establishment PACs to come to their rescue, when those PACs should only be supplemental support, if they chose to run ads for any given candidate at all. They almost certainly have enough contacts on file to organize fundraising to where that should not have been a problem at all. Why should we believe he and his campaign apparatus will be any better organized and actually make an attempt to compete when they did squat in 2020 and 2022? Very serious question that must be answered. The track record is not exactly what you would call good in that regard.
Some great points there. While Trump obviously has a legion of adoring fans, their fantasy of him being a Bruce Wayne superhero playing 65-D chess with his own deep state Q operation isn’t exactly the type of image that inspires a need to contribute much of anything themselves.
