My proposition is that the hostility to Russia and China is Globalism it is the creation of a ‘rules based international order’ that they must comply with.
It is the creation of a new economic system Russia and China will be expected to follow.
Going Green is about coming up with a new model to hurt them and cement US economic dominance in the world.

China probably has Biden, McConnell, Pelosi, Feinstein and several others in their pockets so nothing is going to be done. Instead you’ll hear the MSM propagandizing about how we should buy more weapons from defence contractor companies for Ukraine.

There's no such thing as "international law".
Law requires a lawgiver. The fifty States united have, under their Constitution delegated SOME of their lawgiving powers to a Congress where each State is represented by two delegates (they are called Senators).
That Constitution begins, "ALL legislative powers herein granted...", and goes on to describe the structures of the Congress, and what it can and cannot do.
No power to make laws that bind the 50 States united exists anywhere else on Earth.
Nobody does unless it suits them.
