I don’t remember a lot of prices month to month, but a couple I do recall at Walmart over the past six or so months.
Ritz crackers, box of four sleeves: $2.50 for years. Has gone from $2.50 to $3.38 to $3.88. 55% increase.
Loaf of their Italian bread. $1.00 for years. Now $1.47.
47% increase.
Many other items with similar increases, and I won’t even mention eggs.
Joe is a lying piece of poopy.
So stick with me here.
The old prices on the shelf have to be removed so that the newer, higher prices can be displayed.
The act of taking down the old prices can accurately be described as “prices coming down” off of the shelves.
So, you see? In typical demon-rat Clinton-speak he’s telling the truth!
I am not aware of a single item that has gone down in price. For my own buying, everything is continuing to go up.
Futures prices might, in anticipation of a fall in demand, but it hasn’t reached the retail level yet, and might not.
I hope his pants are flame-retardant.
All those lies.....
A low infaltion rate means food prices are starting to level off at an astronomically high level.
Lawyers ( like Senile Joe ) and liberal arts MSMers are stupid. My guess is they think if inflation is down then prices are coming down. All that a low inflation rate means prices are stuck at their currently high level. We would have to have a sustained period DEFLATION to get prices to actually come down.
Again, math is hard...
from $2.99 to $3.39
40 cents more
my mileage cost thus when up 2 more cents per mile.
the guy on the radio says inflation is 6.4%
yup
Just think... if we had honest elections with no vote rigging and open borders, Biden would have long since been run out on a rail not unlike Jimmah Catah.
Some politician could gain a fair amount of trust by proposing that HIS presidency’s BLS would make their primary reported number a “TCOL” (True Cost Of Living) figure that DOES include volatiles like food, gasoline, and so on, reflecting the real situation average consumers face. Present this as a month by month graph going back 12 or 24 months. Since that graph will be a bit ragged, a figure and line on the graph for a 3 month average would be fine with me, as well.
Neither of the Bidens has been shopping for themselves in a VERY long time.
Why bother, Amazon will ship diapers, ensure and yogurt right to your front door.
He refuses to deal with reality it’s why each one of his lies keep getting bigger to cover over the truth.
