Dianne Feinstein Announces She Won’t Seek Reelection in 2024

California Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein announced Tuesday that she will retire at the end of her term.

“I am announcing today I will not run for reelection in 2024, but intend to accomplish as much for California as I can through the end of next year when my term ends,” Feinstein said in her announcement.

At 89, Feinstein is the oldest senator. She has represented California in the Senate since 1992, and is the longest-serving woman senator in U.S. history. Before she was elected to the Senate, Feinstein was the mayor of San Francisco and made an unsuccessful bid for California governor.

She said she plans to spend the rest of her term working on a few legislative projects for her state.

“I campaigned in 2018 on several priorities for California and the nation: preventing and combating wildfires, mitigating the effects of record-setting drought, responding to the homelessness crisis and ensuring all Americans have access to affordable, high-quality healthcare,” she said in her statement.

Diane’s friend Barbara Boxer has been trying to convince her to retire for at least 15 years. Her pride would not allow her to do it. “My constituents need me!” Diane simply needs to find a new routine to soak up her awake time. That is not the purpose of Congress, to provide busy work for bored politicians without any sense of purpose.
Its like gently taking the car keys from an elderly driver who has clearly become unsafe behind the wheel.

Problem is the same as with insect pests. You get one out of your life and in comes another and another.

I think the younger generation of unabashed socialists will just be more energetic and daring than the Pelosi and Feinstein age group.

Clearly, (looking at Biden and Fetterman), intellectual dysfunction is not an impediment. I’m thinking locomotion is her problem. I don’t think she can, even, do the Biden-shuffle!

I wonder if the Chicoms are involved in her retirement. She may not, mentally, be able to provide as much intel as before.

Years ago she was the Chair of the Senate Intel and other Committees. She was caught providing info for $$$, and directing contract $$$ to herself and her husband. As with all democRATS, she was not forced to resign. She lost the Chair, but she continued to have access and, no doubt, shared it with our enemies. Without a conscience or a soul, all kinds of evil is possible.

Probably “mumbled incoherently” more than “announced.”

Which Republican should run for her seat? I know it will be very hard for a Republican to win, but I hope Congressman Issa will run.

And the country is worse off because of that.

“Adam Schittbird, another returd has an open door now.”

Yep. Another disgusting California liberal will automatically fill the seat ad infinitum and ad nauseum.

Something I will never understand on this side why these evil people are allowed to live until they are fossils. You would think that their evil would kill them early. I.don’t.get.it.

LOL! The ego! If your life is in such a state that you need Dianne Feinstein, you are truly in a bad state.

They sold their souls for a long rich life? To you-know-who I mean... Certainly explains Hillary Clinton.
