I don’t remember any death certificates I’ve read mentioning political party affiliation. I might be wrong. I do know many on both sides were forced by employers to get the vax. I’m glad I was retired. Saved me from telling my boss to Gulf Foxtrot Yankee or GFY.
The initial vax was proven effective against the original strain. That data is all public.
But the virus is much more powerful than simply that. And probably more important, the vax . . . ALL VAX from all countries manufacture . . . faded in effectiveness.
The best data I have seen suggested the vax getting old was even more powerful than its inability to defend against variants.
So there are some far too often said things that are wrong:
1) The vax didn’t work. Not true. It worked for a while.
2) Variants become more infectious and less deadly. Clearly not true given the Delta numbers vs Alpha.
3) Fauci has admitted the vax didn’t work. No such explicit quote has been offered. Just contorted extractions of marginally relevant musing about vaccines in a general sense.
4) Vax was produced before anyone in the US died. Somewhat true, because the genetic sequence was released by China in the Dec 2019 time frame. Experts took one look at it, recognized it to be a novel virus and that there would be no pre-existing immunity, so they produced vax immediately. Covid was destined to kill millions the day it was created.
