Ok fair enough. It’s just that many expect more from Bibi. Making “nice” with the Brandon Gangster-in-Chief didn’t turn out so well did it?
I admit I don’t know the ground game in Israel and its US network as well as Bibi does although I have close friends there, who by the way loved Trump more than many Americans. Recall Trump was nominated for FOUR Nobel Peace Prizes.
Just wish Bibi had better options or could see or find them. I think at core, Bibi’s more a senior military-minded jock than a brilliant businessman.
Trump often does the same complimenting people that many grow to detest, only to find out later he cut a deal behind the scenes that make us smile whether we want to or not. Trump is a Master at the Art of the Deal. Bibi, not so much.
Bibi should have called Trump for a pow-wow session. Instead he folded.
Pray that some fine Israeli new blood comes to the forefront to set the stage better.

I’m no fan of Bibi’s. Didn’t expect anything more from him, because he’s always a “reed,” never an “oak” when it comes to dealing with American presidents, especially those on the left. I prefer oaks, but there are none available.

Maybe they spoke briefly. I don’t know. Never heard Trump complain about his treatment, just his supporters. But if they did not pow-wow, they should have.

I’ve been waiting. Had high hopes for Bennett, which he totally dashed. There is not much trusting right-wing politicians here. Begin could have been great, but look how he turned out. Same thing with Sharon. About the only right-wing politician who didn’t fold like an accordion was Shamir, but he only held the line, didn’t go on offense.
