The news twits keep saying the mystery VW bus got shot down on “frozen water.” Not ice——frozen water?
So if it wasn’t a balloon. Was moving by itself at 40K. Looked metallic. Why did it have to be “shot?” Wouldn’t a supersonic flyby knock it down in , maybe, one piece?

Looks like it went over the Prudhoe Bay oil field, wells, pipeline, etc., just east of Deadhorse, Alaska. Could be useful information to China if they are planning to take out a large source of US oil.
