The sandwich is made with a tender filet cut from a whole, real cauliflower.

“...it is marinated, breaded with a signature seasoning, pressure-cooked, and served on a toasted buttery bun with two dill pickle chips.”

Great. Now I’ll have to wait in line even longer!

All the fat, with none of the protein.

When they ban petroleum-based fertilizers, what will cauliflower production look like?

I guess it could be good, but I probably wouldn’t order it.

I would try it as long as it is real cauliflower and not some Gates lab made up bug stuff.

I love cauliflower in certain dishes, I’ll give this a shot.

While this sandwich doesn’t appeal to me, cauliflower is very versatile. I made a soup of it recently, and the same soup can double as a spaghetti sauce, just add a little parmesan, peas and thin strips of carrot and you’ve got a very passable alfredo/primavera.

It’s being tested only in 3 markets. Darn.

white on white...not extremely appetizing.
Cauliflower should be eaten with cheese sauce, not bread.
Uncertain if being battered and fried would bring any
cauliflower improvement.

About 4 decades ago, I worked at a bank that had a cafeteria. One of the older ladies who worked there made yeast rolls from scratch that came close to melting in your mouth. The other item that was absolutely delicious was deep fried cauliflower. I loved the stuff - maybe it was whatever they used for breading that added to the the taste experience. The cauliflower itself was not crunchy, but soft .... so good! The rolls & deep fried cauliflower are the only things I miss about that place (den of snakes).

"We explored every corner of the plant-based space in search of the perfect centerpiece for our plant-forward entrée,” said Stuart Tracy, culinary developer of the Chick-fil-A Cauliflower Sandwich.

Oh, brother, who would write such crap? And it was FOUR YEARS in development!

This will flop faster than New Coke did.
