I challenge ANYONE in politics to walk thru a major store & see how many items have plastic. IN the packaging if nothing else.

“No fossil fuels no country anymore”
Actually, there will be no civilization anymore.
Our civilization is completely dependent upon fossil fuels (petroleum, coal, natural gas). Th following items are all entirely reliant on fossil fuels whether it be for fuel to operate the equipment for the manufacturing of products, shipping/transportation, or for the ingredients in all the products the world depends upon:
1. Transportation
2. Heating and AC
3. Fertilizers
4. Agriculture production/processing
5. Pharmaceuticals (Yes. Most drugs from aspirin to fentanyl contain ingredients derived from petroleum.)
6. Clothing (Yes. All “synthetic” fabrics are derived in part or entirely from petroleum.)
7. Rubber and plastic products (Yes. Almost every product you purchase that is not made from organic materials, is made and packaged ramen materials with materials derived from petroleum ingredients.)
I could go on, but I think I have made my point. Petroleum is here to stay.
Tell me that when the power goes out on your respirator.
