Mark Steyn was afraid of the same treatment under the new contract offered to him by GBNews, so he just left that organization. The new contract would have subjected him to the UK’s “Office of Communications,” a big brother anti-free speech organization that would have slapped Steyn with huge lawsuits. His new contract would have indemnified GBNews and made Steyn personally liable for such government anti-free speech lawsuits.
