So our military, with all their equipment, sent this little pleasure boat out to retrieve the “balloon” and it’s payload that was 200 feet high and as big as several school buses? The material sure does look flimsy for something that was designed to fly so high and for so long.

Hopefully, we have some FR experts who can explain it to me.

Who says they were the only boat on the water? Could it have been the quickest boat to look for the debris field and they will need a bigger boat with a crane for the gondola? It was a nice picture of them gathering part of the envelope but too little information. Good for news consumption.
