The FAA on Saturday shut down air space near the Atlantic as the Pentagon gears up to shoot down the Chinese spy balloon.
At 2:40 p.m. ET, just off the coast of the South Carolinas, the Pentagon shot down the spy balloon.
On Tuesday, the US Navy posted photos showing sailors retrieving parts of downed Chinese spy surveillance.
Images that were posted on Twitter by the United States Fleet Forces show sailors from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group 2 recovering a piece of the balloon on Sunday.

That tarp looks like the shredded old tarp that was over my dad’s old shed after 20 years of sun, rain, and wind. LOL
No. It says “Made in China”
LOL
Staged.

"Still no sight of land.....How long is it?"
"That's a rather personal question."

Who says they were the only boat on the water? Could it have been the quickest boat to look for the debris field and they will need a bigger boat with a crane for the gondola? It was a nice picture of them gathering part of the envelope but too little information. Good for news consumption.
Looks like a Gilligans Island rerun
Where’s the Glomar Challenger when you need it?
Roswell was first reported as aliens, and then the story changed to be a weather balloon.
This was first reported as a weather balloon...
Now I get that! Lol!!
