I still maintain that it was a free floating weather balloon with its course at the mercy of the jet stream and the constantly shifting wind patterns.

Nobody has asked the question of what kind of propulsion system it was using that would function at 68,000 feet where there is little oxygen for a motor to function or the fuel capacity that would fuel it for the approx. 8 days that it was aloft. And likely very much longer if it hadn't been shot down.......

This has been nothing but a contrived diversion to take the focus off all the other crap that has been going on.
