For all of New York Mayor Eric Adams's whining about migrants rolling into his sanctuary city, inflicting unbearable costs onto taxpayers, he's quietly decided to play the same game the Texas border cities are playing. He's sending the migrants to someplace else.
According to the New York Post:
Disgruntled migrants fed up with the Big Apple’s crime and grime are taking off to the Great White North — on bus rides paid for by New York taxpayers, The Post has learned.
National Guard soldiers have been helping distribute tickets at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan to migrants who want to head upstate before crossing into Canada, several migrants said.
Venezuelan native Raymond Peña and his family arrived at a gas station bus stop in Plattsburgh, NY — about 20 miles south of the Canadian border — at 4 a.m. Sunday.
“The military gave me and my family free bus tickets,” Peña said. “I am going to Canada for a better quality of life for my family.”
A National Guard source confirmed that soldiers at the bus terminal were directing migrants to workers who hand out the free tickets.
Mayor Eric Adams’ administration pays various companies that run programs for migrants that include “re-ticketing” so they can travel to other cities, a City Hall source said.
So Canada's the new destination of choice for the much-passed-around migrants.

It's amazing how these people travel here, on the tax-payer dime through grants to NGOs, and then demand 4 or 5 star hotel accommodations, their own culture's food choices, and protection from being arrested for their crimes.
Under President Trump illegal aliens were self-deporting since they feared being arrested and having to spend time in jail before still being deported. Under Biden's watch they are streaming across the border and then telling their family and friends how to game the system as well causing more to start traveling here. Also, it's amazing that no one questions how aliens from places other than South America, are lining up at the border to cross. Many of the newest crossers are from African countries. Supposedly they are poor, destitute, persecuted, and downtrodden refuges. No one asks how they made it to Mexico in the first place.
At first I thought this was satire.
Our entire society is moving toward a point where gaming the system is a desirable characteristic and an honorable way of life.
Think about it; when is the last time you heard anybody talk about an honor system? That has become a quaint notion from the past.
The illegal aliens are much like CCP Balloons floating about the USA.

That is NOT the duty of National Guard Troops - since when does the Mayor of NYC give orders to the National Guard?
Guard Troops passing out Bus Tickets? Does the Adjutant General of New York approve of this?
Send them to Quebec where they will be forced to speak French.

Refugees have a legal responsibility to flee to the nearest country to seek safety.
Not pick and choose the country with the highest welfare benefits. This climates everyone that crosses Mexico to enter the US.

Canada didn’t let us in without a PASSPORT.
I have seen elsewhere that NYC is giving the illegals free bus rides to Plattsburg NY at the Canadian border. They get off the bus and hire taxis to take them to Quebec.
How can they afford taxi fair?
How do they get across the border without a passport?

I’m wondering the same thing. It is impossible getting into Canada at the border without a passport. That was our experience.
I think one way is through an Indian Reservation that straddles the border. No checks there apparently or something.

If that’s true, I’m surprised. Canada is tough at border crossings.
