In a humorous essay by Steve Martin he said ex-Piston Dennis Rodman was smart to have a co-author for his autobiography Bad As I Wanna Be.
Said Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel García Márquez would have sold much more like Rodman’s bestseller with an “as told to” helper and also that the word cholera was a turn off and the weather in the book was dank. Another turnoff.

I liked Steve's "The Apple Pie Hubbub", because that's when he started using verbs.
