Not my point. I am sure Florida loves its Governor and Texas loved its Senator. However like Texas, DeSantis vs. Trump would be divisive and nasty. In 2024 we will need every vote and we will not need a bunch of butt hurt voters because their candidate did not win. We had plenty of those in 2016 and even in 2020. in Texas.

Florida will turn out for DeSantis. A few sour grapes may stay home but it won’t make a difference.
It won’t be as nasty as Texas because DeSantis won’t let it.
Going low won’t work for Trump in Florida.
