China is not communist at all. US is more of that than Chine this days.
Secondly the unipolar world showed its bad. No competition and a hegemony of one country is appalling. And after all China never takes place of US and possess a hegemony for herself.
So US will continue to be a pole in our world but not only one pole. So what China does now is good for everyone and the US population too.
Let be 2 poles in our world. Let be US and China but only US.

The action Communist China took was to supply Russia with high tech electronic parts for production of hypersonic weapons, an act almost certainly to strengthen Russia.

Sorry, but that is WAY wrong.
Communist China has only removed Communist Economic Policy from manufacturing, production and foreign trade.
Control of the people and everything about their lives are still hard Communist (extreme Socialism), while Communist Control of their Media (including Social Media) gives the Government good publicity and doesn't mention Communism.

While that is true, a uni polar world centered on Communist China would work better for them that what they have now, and they want it, knowing their media would find no problem with a uni polar Chinese world.
So what China does now is good for everyone and the US population too.
Nope, Communism and/or extreme Socialism is NEVER good for anyone, anytime.
The Russian Federation is the entity that has greatly reduced the negative effects of Communism across the board in the RF, and it is the Russian Federation that is getting close to being "Not Communist At All", Communist China will NEVER get that far.
