Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that there was no “law that can stop that evil” when asked about the death of Tyre Nichols.
Host Chuck Todd asked, “Let me start with what we saw. Senator Tim Scott said, ‘We’ve been here too many times before. We cannot continue down this path. America cannot stand silent. Let it serve as a call to action for every lawmaker in our nation at every level.’ What action would you like to see, Congressman?”

I had wondered if the true reason will ever see the light of day and said as much to hubby. There has to be some connection between the "vic" and the policemen, other than a random traffic stop.
You are absolutely right. We all know but can’t prove.
MY heart goes out to Tyre’s family. He was no Floyd
Amazing
Actually the police are now being forced to hire LESS THAN top of the line people, they don’t pay enough for top of the line men and women to take the damned abuse the police are saddled with every damn day from the media ect. The fact that these cops were ALL BLACK should show the general public that it is NOT just white cops who are bad apples!! We will be seeing far MORE bad apples as police departments hire, just warm bodies!!
I see you ignored the bigger point. Don’t hit unqualified people just to make a quota. But if you do you better train them properly.
I didn't ignore anything. Frankly the only use I have for police is to write up a report in case I have to file something with an insurance company. They sure as heck aren't going to be protecting me or my property, as we have seen rather graphically displayed over the past few years. They can just keep the hell out of the way as far as I'm concerned. The biggest likelihood I have of having any interaction with police is if they are shaking me down for money, or arresting me if I have a need to protect myself from some feral 'youth'.
They can bloody well just stay the hell out of my life. I'll take care of me and mine. Either that, or they can get a productive job and pay some taxes rather than sucking money out of my pocket.
