I hope he's a man of his word. I'd love to support him in 2028.
Agree with your excellent comment. And I do see a DeSantis presidency in my crystal ball and the sooner the better.
1) he hasn’t announced he’s running for president...
2) he released a statement last week instructing people not to donate money to any organization that claims he’s running for president in 2024...
you’re prematurely ejaculating...
Not his turn?
Since when do we care about turns?
In '96, it was Bob Dole's turn and the perennial candidate finally got his nod. Lot of good it did us.
In 2000, it was John McCain's turn but GWB snatched the ball away and won two terms.
In 2008, it was Hillary Clinton's turn until an unknow junior senator from Illinois again, snatched the ball away, and won two terms (during which time, McCain and Mitt Romney finally had their turns).
In 2016 it was Jeb Bush's turn....
We don't elect candidates on whether or not it's their turn. We elect candidates who can win.
And Bush-like politicians? Trump filled his administration with Bush's D-team.
A whole bunch of quotes from prior to the election because DeSantis wasn’t stupid enough to give Charley Crist a bunch of, “See, Ron DeSantis doesn’t really want to be your governor!” talking points.
Once he declares, the media will treat him worse than they did Trump.
March 2018: Trump offers Bill Gates the Chief Scientist position at the White House
Trump never endorsed Abrams.
Dontcha think DeSantis should appreciate DJT a little more, after all he never would have been elected governor without his help.
You all are taking this way too personal.
It's about winning the White House, something Trump cannot do.
I watched Trump today and he looks and sounds great. DeSantis just isn’t ready yet. Let him stay as governor for another few years. Tell him Jon thinks it’s his best play.
you’re lying...
LOL! He sure did!
” … Of course having her, I think, might be better than having your existing governor, if you want to know what I think. Might very well be better.” “And Stacey Abrams, who still has not conceded, and that’s OK,” Trump said of the former state senator. “Stacey, would you like to take his place? It’s OK with me.”
Donald Trump just kind-of endorsed Stacey Abrams for governor
When and if DeSantis declares, I’ll be 100% behind him, supporting him in any way I can. It’s time for new leadership.
I never said he did, and was disagreeing with that post actually. In case you aren't aware, if something is in italics at the top of a post, it generally has been copied from someone else's post, and is shown above that poster's actual non-italicized response, for clarity. Hope that helps, thanks.
Trump loses every state he lost in 2020 with the addition of North Carolina.
DeSantis wins every state Trump won in 2020 with the addition of AZ, GA, and VA for 272 Electoral Votes and the keys to the White House.
At a minimum.
He'll probably win Wisconsin as well to really seal the deal.
Sadly, and obviously, many do. No matter how many times it's already blown up in our face.
1) desantis never announced he’s running for president...
2) desantis released a statement last week instructing people not to donate money to any organization that claims he’s running for president in 2024...
you’re lying when you claim desantis is running for president...
LOL!
"Ron won in a landslide" - because the DNC ballot factories pulled all their money out of Florida to spend in more fertile bailiwicks.
The people arguing with you are just regurgitating what they heard on the TeeVee. Ignore them.
If the DNC needs Florida for their 2024 cardboard cutout, the Democrat ballot factories will be back.
Not sure if they even need Florida, though. It would probably look better if they actually put up a fight there, however.
Here's a retort for these TeeVee-besotted munchkins: "If I wanted to hear what CBSABCNBCCNNFoxSpews are saying about Florida 2022, I'd turn on my TV., not go to Free Republic to see the regurgitations of their propaganda."
