My guess ( and it’s just a guess) is that this was not their first encounter. That kind of beating is personal.
Between macing themselves during the encounter I couldn’t help but notice, the one cop with the asp had to take several ‘fat boy’ breathers when the mace got to him. And he is the officer strutting and literally bouncing all over the scene as the beating is happening. Hi adrenalin activity beating an unarmed man to death.

No marked police cars, half of them out of uniform. They gang stopped him on the street (kidnapping), went straight to jerking him out of the car (they knew exactly who he was) and beating his ass (murder). All by the numbers. Just Wow. Im gonna say that this is just as systemic if not more (strictly due to sheer numbers of black cops in the cities), as white supremacy is in the force. None of the 5 tested properly to be on the force. Another is convicted of aggression crimes somewhere else. What did I miss?
