I can’t find any actual proof that DeSantis ever actually gave his official endorsement to Dhillon, other than some headlines wanting to give that impression.
DeSantis DID say “I think we need a change. I think we need to get some new blood in the RNC.” When his campaign was asked later was he actually endorsing Dhillon, the response was “No Comment.”
To me, his comment requesting “we need to get some new blood in the RNC” would NOT be an endorsement of Dhillon, who has been faithfully by McDaniel’s side for years at the RNC.

Maybe it wasn’t intended that way but its hard to imagine all the articles hitting claiming she removed his ‘endorsement’ possibly having some effect.
