Interesting choice of response.
Not “He lied and has been fired.”
Not “The research has been mischaracterized.”
Not “We would never risk the public health like that.”
So I guess he couldn’t say, “Yes, we’re profiting by killing people.”
We can’t fire him because he is black and gay.
The problem with firing the guy is he is a double protected victim class, and maybe he has real dirt on the company.
