Indiana is red so it’s safer to say the wind was at his back.
It’s like Weinberger being Cap the Knife at HUD, or whatever. Moves to Defense and he goes wild.
As for senators and governors re:the revolving door. Both have won statewide so name recognition is a helps. I just didn’t care for the Richard Lugars out there. Daniels isn’t one and if he is 6 years is not too much to put up with.
Our votes absolutely do count. Dems can win very close elections by playing games, but that is only 1% of the vote. If we win by more than 1% we win.
The alternative is not voting. What does that get us?
And candidates do matter. Time to address current issues. Stop fighting the 2020 election. And time to move on from Trump.
