So we’re just supposed to watch the world blow up while Trump sits there in his smug arrogance claiming he has a secret answer to it all, that we’re not worthy of knowing?
I call BS. I know what Trump’s solution is, and anyone who’s followed him should too, he just doesn’t want to say it out loud because it’s wrong. He would just surrender to Russia. He already called Putin “a genius” for invading Ukraine to begin with.
In negotiations, you don’t tell what you’re going to do ahead of time.
Yes, Russia would have to give something and get something. And so would Ukraine. That’s what negotiations are.
A lot of it would be secret, as in the past. Trump has a sensitivity to what people want, and what they might not want others to know they gave in on. I trust him to do this. But of course he doesn’t have the chance now.
We, of course, would get the big prize: the end of the third world war. Our children and grandchildren would get to have a life.
